Steve Byers was born Dec. 24, 1951, in Fort Worth.
Survivors: Wife, Denise Layton Byers of Keller; daughters, Erin Jeannette Byers and Rebecca Meagan Byers, both of Keller; mother, Virginia Cleere of Azle; brother, David Rayburn Byers of Fort Worth; sister, Susan van Beuningen of Baton Rouge, La.; and aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
