John Wesley Motheral Jr., an associate of Motheral Printing Co., died Sunday at his family's Fort Worth home after a long illness. He was 40.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member.
Brown, Gause-Ware, Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Motheral was a graduate of Paschal High School and received a business degree from Texas Christian University.He was a former employee of Green Expectations and was a partner in DFW Environment, an interior and exterior landscaping business.
Mr. Motheral was a member of North Fort Worth Business Association, the Southwest Agricultural Development Fund, the Orchid Society and worked in sight conservation and aid to the blind.He was active in Pioneer Days and participated in the sesquicentennial trail ride and was chairman of the fajita cookoff for several years.
Mr. Motheral was a volunteer with Interfaith Network of Tarrant County and the Outreach Center. He was a founding member of the Indian Mountain Society and was crowned king in 1987.
The family suggests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church for Samaritan Housing.
Survivors, all of Fort Worth: Parents, John Wesley and Daphne Motheral; sister, Michelle Wayman; and grandmother, Macalee Kincaid.
